What is SBHD Founation?

  • SBHD Foundation Is a Non-profit organization, which was registered in Tanzania to advocate for the quality of life and the rights of children with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH) disability, known in Swahili as “Kichwa Kikubwa na Mgongo Wazi”.

To “Improve lives for people/children With Spinal Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH) disabilities.”

Our Mission

  • To raise awareness and increase public education to children, Youth and women regarding symptoms, early intervention, care and prevention.
  • To influence and advocate for the rights and services for persons with SBH to be given access to all social and economic services.
